“After the War?” Cover for Liberte! (Issue 115, February 2026)

In February 2026, I created the official cover artwork for Liberte! (Issue 115), a Polish cultural and political magazine.

The cover, titled “After the War?”, explores themes of aftermath, reconstruction and psychological landscape. Rather than depicting conflict directly, the visual focuses on spatial tension and atmosphere, using scale, light and environmental storytelling to frame the central question.

The artwork was developed as a digital environment piece, combining elements of concept art, editorial illustration and cinematic world-building. My approach was to create a cover that functions both as a striking magazine front and as a layered narrative image.
and you can see the process of making it here:

This project continues my ongoing research into post-conflict spaces, memory, and the emotional architecture of landscape. It also reflects my work at the intersection of fine art, production design and visual storytelling.
